If you’re looking for pre-made free-standing furniture, you can look for ages to find anything remotely similar to what you had in mind for your room. And usually, it’s never exactly what you wanted, so you end up compromising. Maybe the size is right, but they don’t make it in the colour you want. Or you want shelves, and it has drawers. It can be really frustrating trying to find the right piece of furniture for your needs.

As someone who struggles to stay organised, anything that helps me to keep things tidy and in their proper place is great to me. If you have or have had free-standing wardrobes or drawers in your home, you’ll probably agree with me that it’s a nightmare keeping them dust-free! Keeping the tops and sides of this free-standing furniture dust-free was a full-time job! Okay, I exaggerate… but either way, not having to dust the top and sides of my fitted wardrobes constantly is just another job off my weekly to-do list, and that’s a win in my book. With my fitted wardrobes, I just wipe down the wardrobe doors every now and then to keep them looking good!
